Future Vision and Mission
At the Faculty of Biotechnological Sciences, we aspire to achieve academic accreditation and to become a leading institution locally, regionally, and internationally in the fields of multidisciplinary biotechnology. Our college aims to be an innovative entity by developing excellent human resources with leadership qualities and ethical values, and by fostering a culture of research and innovative skills through the application of global standards in higher education and practical research.
As part of Al-Qasim Green University, the Faculty of Biotechnological Sciences is committed to producing biotechnical assistants in accordance with academic reference standards to meet the local and regional labor market needs in the medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and environmental sectors. Conducting innovative scientific research, and providing scientific services and consultancy to the community.
College Objectives
1. Impart basic knowledge and skills in various aspects of biotechnology and genetic engineering.
2. Train students for challenging professions in the fields of biotechnology and genetic engineering and lay a strong foundation for graduate studies and research for industrial needs and continuing education.
3. Instill an entrepreneurial spirit among students to initiate their own projects in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering.
4. Provide education that establishes a solid basis for understanding rapid advancements in biotechnology and genetic engineering.
5. Offer intensive and profound learning and develop the technical and critical thinking skills necessary for success in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering.
6. Develop student awareness and knowledge on various topics in biotechnology and genetic engineering through lectures and practical sessions.
7. Prepare students to assume a wide range of roles such as researchers, scientists, consultants, entrepreneurs, academics, and future leaders.
